Can someone point me in the direction of a lesson or site on how to make scales...like the reason they're the way they are?

Do you like anime/manga?
PM me about buying the graphic novels I'm trying to sell
If you're referring to the Tone/Semitone set up of scales, they are all different (also have many, many different names) as to give a different feeling, as well as to give you a set of notes to fit in to a key. The C Major scale for example is of course relevant the the Key of C Major, which has no sharps or flats. (Sorry if i confused you more) But im fairly certain there is a lesson on this site about this sort of thing, which explains it much better than i could in a short post, go to the lessons section and search "Scales" and yo should find soemthign to help.
