hey,

i'm gonna be modding my whole squier strat soon, and i was thinking about which pickups i was gonna put in.
I love iron maiden, so i was thinking about putting in their pickups, but i don't know which ones they use.
I want a tone that would get me something like the intro to "wasted years" and the lead (neck pickup i assume) and clean of "fear of the dark".

which pickups should i go with?

EDIT: it is an SSS strat, so no p-90s or humbuckers please.

it says dave murray uses SD hot rails, but i read the reviews on harmony central, and many dislike the hot rails, so im confused as to which ones to get

they used d'marzio super distortions at some stage, and seymore duncan JBs and hot rails

i dont think u'll have any luck.. give the hot rails a go anyway i reckon

oh wait seymour duncan JB jr might be good

its a humbucker that fits into a single coil "hole"

and adrian smith sometimes uses a gibson SG with stock pickups

their tone would come mainly from the high quality, expensive, tube amps tho.

dont expect to put in the same pickups and sound like iron maiden
