Basically, I have very little idea on stomp boxes and foot pedals. I know two things.

1. They change the sound that you produce.

2. I do not like Multi-effects.

What's the best beginner pedal. I play absolutley everything...from Cream, to Hendrix, to Van Halen, to Sex Pistols, to Slipknot, to cannibal Corpse. I like ALL genres apart from pop/emo.

Considering Behringer? Reviews = Bad. Price = Good.

Also considering EH Little Big muff. I saw a guy play one of these beauties on an American Tele and I was blown away.

I've got a Mexican Telecaster.

I'm sometimes play a Squier Standard Strat ... Through a Roland Cube 60.

Thanks

Never tried the little big muffs, but i'm a fan of the original myself.
The Sovtek is great. I love mine, it's a bit rougher around the edges than the NYC but it gives it a bit more feeling and character.
Try em out in store.

Since your amp is modelling, it won't take too nicely to pedals. Maybe look at a more advanced amp first?

Everyone must own a DS-1 at some point in their playing career.
