Yeah! I saw that on ebay too.

Its all original, not a reissue. I've only played the reissue. I wonder if the original sounds better.

Ever wondered why they cost so much compared to reissues?

How does it compare to your other 808-ish pedals? Could you A/B it with a Keeley or Analogman 808?
#21
Why did Ibanez get all the good pedals.

Not to spam your thread, but vintage peds are the best. I got a RAT from the 80s (the turbo RAT), and some vintage wahs (crybaby), all of which are great. Miles ahead of the new ones.

RIP american engineering.

I dunno man, I don't use a lot of vintage stuff, I have a new murf that's fantastic, the t rex replica is an out of this world delay. the keeley katana clean boost is surreal and the fulltone clyde deluxe wah is the best wah I've ever used.

Vintage is cool though.

They all do the same thing, the original 808 is just special, it could be the mystique, the history.

But the original 808 is my favorite out of the keeley mod and the maxon od808.

You can't really go wrong with either

nice.....notice the MAXON on the upper right of the last picture......... I have played these before and they are really good, but their high price is a reflection of their rarity/collectibility and not so much the difference in tone. The newer Maxon's sound just as good IMO

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
