Is that the backing track, with vocals? If not, that's pretty good. but anyways... the transitions to clean need some work, along with your clean channel in general. Try recording the distorted/ clean parts on different tracks, then put them together.

Tone isn't the greatest, but that isn't your fault.

Just work on the fluidity of your playing some. I did kinda like how you made that one verse clean, that added an original touch.

I used Cakewalk Guitar Tracks 2.0 and just put the mic next to the amp. It's very hard to get a great tone because what you hear coming out can sound great but when its recorded with the mic it sounds completely different so i dont really know what to do.

i dont like your tone. its like its all over the place. maybe turn the gain down a little bit. but nice playing though.

Maybe try turning the volume on the amp down a bit. May be a little clearer.
