This is a song my band mates, and I wrote last night. It's possibly our best lyrics ever, our band name has not yet been decided, but we're thinking of Crimson Thunder. This is our heart and soul, and possibly the best lyrics in existence.

Here it is:

we ride north to the land of dragons
where we kill, rape, and pillage the weak
we take what's theirs, and make it ours

(Vikings!)
we are one
we are...
(Vikings!)
here to take from the weak, and give to the strong

young people
and old alike
women
children
elders and the wise

all put to death
by beheading
ending their meaningless lives
burning their corpses
smell of death fills the air

only thing that could stop us
does not exist
for we are
(VIKINGS!)
unkillable and undefeated
in the land where we fear no one
and are also eternally feared

this would probably be sweet if it was translated into Sweedish, or Finnish

Canadian Metal FTFW!

I like the last line.

(Vikings!)
we are one
we are...
(Vikings!)
here to take from the weak, and give to the strong

"all for one, one for all, we are one...Nemesis!"

young people
and old alike
women
children
elders and the wise

br00tal.

all put to death
by beheading
ending their meaningless lives
burning their corpses
smell of death fills the air

awesome, I can totally feel a solo right here.

only thing that could stop us
does not exist
for we are
(VIKINGS!)
unkillable and undefeated

and are also eternally feared

good ending to a good song. once you have a recording, I demand to hear it.

Get baked, study theory.

Eh, This line does not make alot of sense to me... I believe Dragons were feared and Seen as strong destroyers... And What Exactly do you steal from a weak dragon?

(Vikings!)
we are one
we are...
(Vikings!)
here to take from the weak, and give to the strong

this would work as an chorus.... But make it flow better, Chage it to taking from the weak,

young people
and old alike
women
children
elders and the wise
works alright for a pre-verse

all put to death
by beheading
ending their meaningless lives
burning their corpses
smell of death fills the air

only thing that could stop us
does not exist
for we are
(VIKINGS!)
unkillable and undefeated
in the land where we fear no one

the rest of it finishes off kind of weakly, I do want this to turn out well, but it will have to take a step up in the writing.

It is alright.. the whole piece did not really flow to well, And I will break some down.

Basicly, Make more sense of it, And make the song flow better. After that I see no problems.

Check out one of mine if you like, And Peace Shall Sleep, The Unfillable void, are two new pieces you might like, Especially And PEace Shall Sleep.

Ok.........where to start...

First lets address the ryme scheme.
It doesnt exsist.
When you do try to birth it,
you ryme in the same line,
that doesnt flow.

Next lets just attack the fact that this song stereotypes metal,
that its all about dragons and pillages and rape. If you really want
to go this way with it try not to act like your a goddam viking,
cause your not...

(P.s vikings really do only travel south.)

its always a slaughterhouse when people post lyrics on here. mainly because if you like them, record them and let everyone decide in context. canadians really dont have anything to do with vikings, so it really does sound like sterotyping. like if weird al were to do a metal cover. but i've heard some totally garbage stuff put into a song and work. it's all about context. if you're reciting these incantations with blood spewing from your mouth and shredding going on in the background, im sure my metal-head brother will hold a seance to it. but only after he gets it on vinyl. i still dont get that. admire the confidence to put your stuff out though.
