hey, ive got a marshall jcm 800, and im just wondering if you guys have any good tips to getting most tone out of it. any recommendations for ex: preamp vol/master volume ratio, etc.

with the JCM 800 50w it doesn't have to be too loud to get excellent preamp distortion which was the biggest turn on for me when i bought mine. Usually i just keep it on Master Volume 3-4 (depending on if your's even has a master volume) and preamp on 7-9 with bass dimed, and treble and mids at 5-7. Thats with my 4x12. With your combo, you could probably put it up to 5 MastVol and boost it with an OD to do heavier stuff, while keeping the same settings.
