Opeth totally.

If Opeth is the best live band you've ever seen, I'm willing to bet you've only been to one concert and missed all the opening bands.

I'd ratehr blare an Amy Grant CD and watch paint dry.

Despite the naysayers, Opeth. Three times I've seen them (and the opening bands) and they were amazing.

I'd love to see Amon Amarth live.

Defiantly Iron Maiden imo. I love it when Harris jumps like six feet in the air with fire blasting behind him.

Melt-Banana were intense. Mastodon were probably good too, but I hated their music at the time.
#33
Yngwie Malmsteen was probably the best live performance ive seen, his playing and showmanship was simply amazing....... Impossible to beat....
Frank Zappa's not dead. He just smells funny.
#34
GWAR, Irom Maiden or Opeth. I wonder who the worst live metal band is...

I'm sure some of you will grab your scalping knives for this, but DragonForce puts on an AMAZINGLY energetic show, and I don't care about what peopl say, when I say them, they were dead on with every song.
#37
Black Dahlia Murder puts on a pretty good show, but I like Behemoth and Cannibal Corpse's shows a lot better.

Cradle was amazing <3

^^What songs did they play? Because if they're playing shit from their last few, then the live factor pales in comparison to the crappyness of the music being played.

From their live videos, I'd have to say Death and Iron Maiden.
