ok, so i got a peavey head (well not yet, my friend still has to give it to me) now i'm not sure if it's an all tube head or what but i don't have a cab for it, however i have a pair of pretty big speakers in my room that are like like 150 watts, and a reciever that has about the same, so can i somehow find a way to run the head through the speakers? this may be a dumb question, but i really don't know a whole lot about this kind of stuff so any help would be good thanks

If they are low-fi. If not, don't you don't want hi-fi speakers to be driven because the gods of music will kill you.
