If you want just put in a link of another thread like this. Any help would be appreciated

Most bands that play in Drop D don't tend to write complex riffs. Hence the whole playing in Drop D thing.

Anything that is played in drop C or B or A or whatever can also be played in D, the intervals will be the same, the pitches won't, so I'm gonna recommend some of that stuff too.

Tool
Shadows Fall
As I Lay Dying
Slipknot
Nile
Some Opeth
Some Alice in Chains
Pantera

Rage Against the Machine has some songs in D but idk if they're really complex. Drob C has SOAD(not very complex), Protest the Hero and The Human Abstract

Soundgarden
some Alice in Chains
some Nevermore
some Pantera

The list goes on, but those pop up first.

Seether is pure riffage (Karma & Effect album), only catch is it's in Drop C# (Drop D, then go half-step flat on all strings).
