Can anyone help me with these 2 questions, I'm a bit confused.

1. An aeroplane, having a wing span of 50 m, is flying horizontally at a speed of
600 km/h. Calculate the emf generated between the wing tips, assuming the
vertical component of the Earth’s magnetic field to be 40 µT.

2. Three-phase alternators are used on aircrafts to produce AC electricity at 400 Hz.
An aircraft alternator has a 2-pole rotor with a diameter of 200 mm, and a length
of 500 mm. The flux density in the alternator gap is 0.7 T. The peak value of the
phase voltage of the alternator is 352 V. Calculate the speed of the alternator in
rpm, and number of turns per phase.
