I've recently have been looking into some (noiseless) single coil pups. I like DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan, but I have heard great things about Lace Sensor too.

I'm looking for a vintage sound based around a jazzy low end, slightly punchy mid., and a REALLY smooth high. Maybe something along the lines of what Santana uses.

*I'm going to put the pick up(s) in my standard Telecaster.

Suggestions? Any advice would be appreciated.
Well Santana uses humbuckers...so uhh.

I love your avatar. That is an awesome game...

I'm sorry I don't have anything to contribute to this thread.
A guitar is your personality expressed through 6 strings.
seymour duncan sls lipstick tube. nice and glassy highs with some smooth mid punch and tight low end. they are surrounded with metal sheiling making them as noise free as my humbucker.
Joe Barden.

I don't know if you're willing to spend that much for a pickup, but that's about the best you can find.
