Sometimes some effects sound better/more distinct in an effects loop than the easy plug & play.

Since pre-amp gain is what usually gives you most of your distortion, some effects (eg the many variations of time-delay effects) sound better shaping your signal *after* the distortion rather than before.

so would putting all your effects in the loop be better. or having like distortion in the guitar ->effect-> amp, and stuff like reverb, chorus, delay kinda stuff in the loop

the effects on ur amp are likely the best, the sound of the effects are designed to work with the sound of the amp(tone, distortion), i use danelectro distortion and crybaby
