the chords are C - Dm - G - F what key harmonica do i use for it?
LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER

C Diatonic for major-key soloing.

It doesn't really matter as long as you can hit the notes you want to hit.

what chord does the song end in? what key is the song in?

The song is in the key of C, most likely.

The song is just a progression. It can end anywhere, but mostly likely on a C or F.

Wouldn't he have to use an F diatonic to play blues in C?

The chords don't really fall over second position notes properly, so it'd be awkward (for me at least) to play blues over it.

actually in the Key of C, which is what the chords are, the F harmonica would be the one used for 2nd position or "cross harp" not the G
