Hey, a while back I bought an Rp-80 to play around with. (see what happens when I get money... )

Well anyway, I'm not allowed to use my amp w/o headphones after my little brother goes to bed. So today, I just hooked my guitar to my rp and put headphones straight in it. I dont feel like moving my amp so I just keep my rp by my computer desk. I'm just playing around with it but I've never really been good at doing my own presets. Does anyone have some reccomended presets for it? Its a fun little toy, but sadly nothing more.

yeah i got one for christmas once, i never could get it to sound any good at all, so i traded it in
edit: i only ever used the tremolo, so i just bought a tremolo pedal and it's better anyways
Now officially has too much gear to list

PM me if you want to know about my recording setup

You can get some surprisingly cool tones out of it, I think. My sig clip (hard to hear) and this song http://www.purevolume.com/alexpopell were both made with RP80 (actually the one on the purevolume site I used some Guitar Rig 2 effects for some of the funkier guitar tracks you hear). I can go check my settings if you like any of the tones.

That one on pure volume kicks ass

Yeah the one in my sig wasn't recorded directly into my comp. But for the lead guitar on pure volume I used a regular shitty Yamaha strat copy (no amazing tonal qualities from there). I have the master volume and patch volume both at 35 (bring your amp volume higher), cab modeling on is very important. Then I have 15 compression, S6 amp, bass 5, mids 7, treb 4, delay on d3 with 20 milliseconds and r1 for reverb.
