In addition to the post above me, they also have 9 members, not 8.

EDIT: Wait, no, I may be mistaken... Gah. Well, to the threadstarter: Sorry, I haven't heard of any bands with 2 bass players.
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

I'll say.
They were originally going make Claudio a part of Mount Rushmore, but the material was not tough enough to sculpt his hair out of.

"St. Anger" was done in Drop Z tuning, they were trying to "out heavy" Slipknot.

not really metal but Aerosmith - Back In The Saddle
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

Among the churchyard’s mouldering stones I recognise a name – my own.
I have come home to Arkham.

Nope, two guitarists. They just tune really fricken low.

Low enough to use bass strings, but as far as I know they're using guitars.

There's a band called Arnocorps that has two bassists. They're not quite metal, but they're "Action Adventure Rock n Roll." If you listen to "Collateral Damage" you can hear the 2 basses doing diff things.

Also, doesn't Boris have two bassists?

I wonder how harmonized bass riffs would sound... I just wish bass in general was more heard in metal and not just following the guitar when it is.

There was a local band around here who had two bassists, but they went nowhere cuz they sucked. lol
THE TREND IS OVER
YOU WON'T NEED THAT ANYMORE

it'd be incrediby hard to play 2 basses at the same time and sound good

Fool, listen to Bitches Brew. Tell me that isn't awesome. There's a stand up bassist and an electric bassist.

My weirdest dream would have to be when I dreamed that I met this chick I really liked and wanted to practice sex, so I practiced on some guy I met at a gas station...that was pretty screwed up.

There was this one crazy metal band that had all no electric guitars and three basses, but I forget what it is called.

Dude, it came out wrong xD I meant that my post was semi-related to the other guys.

And after re-counting, yeah, they do have 9 members, my earlier correction was... incorrect xD

They don't have 2 bassists, but I think Iron Maiden could definitely use them.
