Now You Sir have one hell of a guitar and look more alive and look to have more stage presence than anyone else I've seen on this forum

Studio -
Carved maple top, Mahogany back
Mahogany neck, '59 Rounded Les Paul
Rosewood fingerboard
Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar
Chrome or gold hardware
490R and 498T alnico magnet humbucker pickups
2 volume and 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch

Standard -
Mahogany body and slim 60's neck OR 50's neck
Maple top
Rosewood fretboard
BurstBucker Pro pickups
Green keystone tuners
Top and fretboard binding
Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar
2 volume and 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch

Pickups, neck options, binding and finish options would be why I think most people want a standard over a studio. I love my studio though, so it is a matter of preference, just like anything else.
