Ok so I've got a Marshall AVT50 combo amp and I love the sound of it but I'm looking for something a little more powerful. I saw this second hand Marshall AVT150 combo in mint condition and the owner of the shop said that I could part-ex mine for it with a extra £100 ($200)

Is it worth it?

No. You should go up in quality when you buy a new amp.

Unless, of course, you are 100% satisfied with your old amp (aside from the wattage, obviously).

I'd personally take the opportunity to get something better, buying a louder version of the same amp strikes me as being a little odd. Also, you might want to upgrade to a valve amp, that way you get more power and a better sound.
Actually called Mark!

The AVT50 should give you enough power for band practise and little to medium gigs ..

You are better off saving the money and go for a better quality amp.

I would but I don't no which amp to go for + I'm a little low on funds.

The most I'd be able to get is £300 ($600)
