I don't think they're is a Supertramp so therefore i feel they are underated and i think they should be talked about more especially with classic albums such as Breakfast in America and Even In The Quietest Moments.
#2
if you could convince me that they are as good as you say, what song would you suggest, I will listen to it and let you know what i think!

They may not necessarily be the kind of style you're into, but check out Take The Long Way Home, Bloody Well Right, School, Goodbye Stranger and Give a Little Bit.

I did a write-up of Crime of the Century in the review thread. Feel free to check it out.

Odd you're mentioning them..

I've browsed around my (and my dad's) shared records collection, and found like 5 or 4 of their records.

Worth checking out?

I've heard:

Crisis? What Crisis?
Crime of the Century
Even In The Quietest Moments

I can't believe there wasn't a Supertramp thread! I'll admit that these guys aren't my favourite band but they should definitely be given a listen. Great musicianship on all the three albums I've heard.

I'd recommend giving them a listen before you dismiss them.

Eh, Supertramp. They have an incredible vocalist and some killer songs, but I'm satiated by them. My father listened to them constantly for a few years and I couldn't even escape them when I went to Italy. But maybe if I took a little break, I would be able to appreciate them again.

They are good. I've heard 10 or so of their songs just on the radio and having downloaded a few songs.

Who is the piano player for them???...because he's mad good.

I think both Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson were, and I think Hodgson plays the beginning of Bloody Well Right. That song is awesome, and the intro is amazing

^ I can't say that I really blame him, it took me a while to get used to Hodgson and Davies' voices when I first heard them.
