So I made the riff and decided to record it. Threw improv lyrics over em, decided I liked em and wrote em down. Ended up making a song out of it. It's still a bit rough, but this was just for fun so I don't care.

Behind The Curtains Of Another Life

So when we fall beneath the limits
Will we see the world for what it is?
And will we know what has become
Of you and me

Losing self control, when no one even knows the truth
Behind the lines, behind the curtains of another life
Where we will not return
We will not return, never again

So is this just a lie?
Is there another life beyond the grave?
No matter what you say, I will always remember
What you thought when we decided we would never decide again

No decisions made behind the lines
Behind the curtains of another life
Behind the curtains
Behind the curtains of another lie

The entire thing is improv, no changes made to the lyrics at all. What do you think?

Don't you love when you write lyrics, then read em over and realize they make perfect sense?

Thanks,
Holden

Thanks. Yeah, the "bongos" were just me slapping my thumb on the corner of the guitar. And yeah, I'm not a big fan of my voice, but it gets the job done I guess.

well keep doing what you're doing now, and it will get better. when i first started singing, i sounded like ass all the time, and had to poor loads of reverb to make it sound decent.
Too cool for a signature.
