guns and roses dont have drop d songs....as far as i no,but van halen has songs in many tunnings...trivium,seether,a7x,some pantera, disturbed(some is in drop c),i think when drowning pool used to have it with their old singer, they was drop d a lot, there is a lot more, but those are the bands off the top of my head

edit:system of a down, old stuff is drop c,but it sounds fine drop d,new stuff is drop Db,but it still sounds fine, mudvayne had some drop c stuff that sounds good in drop D,if a song is in drop c that u like, but dont wanna tune, jus do drop D,i think john 5 now plays some of rob zombies stuff in drop d,he used to play a lot of drop c stuff with manson, and drop d,if u like manson, just tune the drop c to d..

try Joker And The Thief by Wolfmother, simple but cool riff in drop d. Add a little fuzz and the result is quite pleasing to the ear. Also, some TOOL songs are in drop d, Jambi being a good example.

Everything from Tool Except for Parabol(a) and uh... one other song is in drop d. Play Tool. Tool rules.

Velvet Revolver, Slither. Lips of an Angel, Hinder. You can play AC/DC's " Shook me all night long " in Drop D, I did a cover that way. Think of Angus with a Metal streak. You can play Blue on Black by Kenny Wayne Shephard in drop D, Sounds awesome if you pull it off right. You can play alot of country in Drop D as well, You just have to understand how to do it.
Blessed be he who sat on the bee, For he shall rise again!

Quite a lot of AC/DC sounds good in Drop D actually. Hells Bells takes on a nice mournfull quality. I was thinking of doing a doom metal cover in drop D

The only specific songs I can think of are Thing That Should Not Be, Come As You Are, and Slither.

There are many, many more if you look though. In fact, try Google.

You Shook Me All Night Long In Drop D? That would make it harder?!.. Because theres like a C, G7 combo thing and some what of a G chord in there that you would have to move up a whole step.. anyway.. thats how I play it. Drop D songs Like someone said, System Of a Down plays in drop C but you can play some songs in Drop D.. Just sounds a bit higher if your playing with the track.. Billy talent if thats your kind of music, there new stuff has a few, Covered in Cowardice, Perfect World, Pins and Needles, and a few bit others.. Steve vai's Bad Horsie, can be played in drop D if thats what your looking for, a heavy-ish stuff.
