Hitler once came ot me in a dream and told me vegetables had told him to kill Jews. He said if it wasn't for vegetables, he was going to be a lumberjack.

pretty much every other evil person in history ate meat. Does that mean that if you eat meat, you cause genocide?

Hitler was indeed NOT a vegetarian and that is a very broad and accepted myth that is factually known to be untrue . Hitler went on a diet of fruits and vegetables for a time when he was young due to a stomach problem, but always went back to eating meat. specifically ham and Sausages. In fact, Hitlers love and propensity for gobbling down pounds of fatty german "braten" was so bad his doctor PUT HIM on a vegetarian diet in order to bring his heart and cholesterol back to normal.

Not to mention that several vegetarian organizations in that region were banned and eliminated by the nazis and their members sent to camps where they died like everyone else. Hitler was not a vegetarian in any sense of the word.

Read up on a subject before you accept something simply because it fits your current paradigm. Thanks!

Ghandi, Hitler, Einstein, Plato, Aristotle, Darwin, Albert Schweitzer, Bernard Shaw, Henry Thoreau, Davinci, Isaac Newton, Emerson, etc... etc... Only the some of the most brilliant and progressive minds in our worlds history. And of course, that's barely a scratch of the surface .

Hitler being a vegetarian is something rednecks tell themselves in order to justify their contribution to the destruction of our environment, their health and the horrible torture of animals for their own pleasure, not neccessity.

You're right! We are missing out.

On disease, premature aging, toxicity, mad cow disease, ecoli, salmonella, various other virolent strains of bacteria, drinking puss and blood (milk), having our intestinal tracts destroyed by antibiotics and hormones made by man and competely carcinogenic in our systems.

We miss out on contributing to huge amounts of pollution, soil degredation, erosion and destroying entire ecosystems for our personal enjoyment of something we could, and would be better off for it, be without.

Oh, and we miss out on participating in the massive smoke screen of lies and denial of claiming civility while we needlessly cause billions of animals to live in horrid squallar, pain and torture every year.

Man oh man, where do I sign up?! You're silly

As much as I find 'moral vegetarianism' (the kind where it's to "prevent suffering" rather than religiously or because someone doesn't like the thought of eating an animal) to be bullshit, I'd have to say that a vegetarian diet cannot make you a serial killer.

Hitler was insane. If you've ever studied WW2 history, even at a basic level, you should know that.

Read these, hopefully if you've got a sense of humour, you'll find them funny:

Not everyone participates in that. I know I'm hurting animals but I couldn't care less, because:
A) It tastes good.
B) Animals are soulless, unintelligent creatures who will remain completely primal until genetic engineering catches up with sci-fi films.
C) Vegetarians cause a great deal of inconvenience for the majority of people.
D) Farming of crops kills animals anyway
E) I'm supporting economy and workers more by being omnivorous.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Die

[/dies] Is that because I didn't criticize Hitler? Here's my views on that:
Although Hitler was a racist/homophobic/etc. son of a bitch, he did help the German economy and reduced unemplyment rates.
Unemployment in Germany
January 1933 - 6 million
January 1934 - 3.3 million
January 1935 - 2.9 million
January 1936 - 2.5 million
January 1937 - 1.8 million
January 1938 - 1.0 million
January 1939 - 302,000

Not that I'm saying he was good, I don't agree with most of the things that happened because of him/during his reign but that's relative. I think many people only focus on the bad things in history as opposed to overcoming them. For a while I've noticed hatred towards Germany/Germans in kids my age who have no idea about what happened, the only thing they know is that Hitler was an 'evil' tyrant. Then there was a backlash to that attitude and these same kids started hating Jews because 'they killed Jesus'. Justifications for hatred these days is often based on misinformation. Either way, there's good and bad in everything.
I don't really know what I'm on about yet.

Mmmmm meat.
