Well soon i'm getting a job, also i'm going to start playing some small gigs soon, so i've been looking around at some heads/cabinets, i'm looking for something that can fill up a small bar, an inside or backyard birthday party, and one for some good loud jamming sessions. I play alot of punk music, but i do enjoy having some nice cleans too, what i've been looking at was http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Triggerman-100H-DSP-Solid-State-Guitar-Amplifier-Head?sku=480266 and http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Triggerman-Guitar-Speaker-Cabinet?sku=601611

i dont' have a set price range exactly but something in the vicinity of 600$, with leftover money i would most likely get some pedals, thanks in advance

if you are goin for epiphone, id look at the so cal. other than that, id check out some combos like fender hot rods or peavey valvekings. if you gt the hot rod you might want a pedal to get it heavier. you dont necessarily need a stack. i think some of the fenders actually have 4x10

hot rod like this one? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Hot-Rod-Deluxe?sku=480862 does that one have built in distortion or would i have to spring for a distortion pedal??

or http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-ValveKing-212-Combo-Amp?sku=481443

which one is overall a better buy

the reason i looked at the epi stacks is that i've been told that epiphone makes great amps, and a stack for that extra volume
