this is really stupid but im thinking of selling my EHX small clone and my boss dd-3 to buy a korg ax1500g. yes i know, single to multi really stupid. but im keeping my tech 21 sansamp gt-2 to retain my warmth distortion. reason for switching is its very expensive buying many pedals and im gona use it mainly for modulation and amp models for recording.. so, im gona sell my small clone and dd-3, buy the korg for modulation, buy a boost pedal to boost my sansamp (single to retain a warmth distortion) and keep my sansamp and vox v847.

what are your comments? do it or do not do it..??

If yo got all those, chorus delay etc, all you need is a flanger and a phaser. swap that clone for a stone and then save for a good flange unit.

this is exactly my point. swapping my clone to another modulation. then buy a flange. then where is my chorus now?? im really confuse. do you know the point where you have this pedal and you have to give it up to buy another pedal but you dont want to do it? this is it..

I agree with you:

yes i know, single to multi really stupid.

If you make this move, I suspect that somewhere down the line you're going to seriously regret it. Probably sooner rather than later. Individual modulation effects will sound better than the Korg (and can be individually chosen), and I really doubt you'll get a ton of use out of the amp models, either. Just ask anyone with a modelling amp. Just about everyone finds a setting or two they use, while the others go to waste.

Yes, you get more effects for your money with the multi unit, but if you're not using most of them, and the ones you do use don't sound as good as individual pedals, what exactly was the point?
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.
