depends on what you wanna play, and your budget. i'd say laney for harder stuff.

^The Laney isn't for hard stuff.

Well the Vox is more trebly and sparkly while the Laney is more dark voiced.

AC15...*drools* if you want to play some blues or classic rock. Get a pedal and you'll be able to hit hard rock tones.

+1

the od channel on the laney sounds a bit like a non-top-boost vox channel, while the vc clean is a little more fendery (with bright engaged).

really depends what you're after, you need to try them head to head.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

When I played the VC15 I liked it, the only reason I didn't buy it was that I wanted more power (so I bought the VC30), also I think last year Guitarist magazine reveiwed it and rated it highly.

When comparing these amps straight up to each other, I prefered the Laney.
