Why is the tremonti SE $100 cheaper than the normal singlecut SE? Is the normal singlecut worth the extra $100?
The tremonti lacks the maple top and veneer that the singlecut SE has. As far as I see, that's the only difference.

EDIT - as far as the price goes, it's hard to make that judgement for you. Is it work the extra money? Yes and no. The maple top lends a bit of brightness to the guitar, and the SE models seem to be a bit lighter than the tremonti models (more resonance), so it all depends on what you're looking for in a guitar.
