Seriously, what is the big fuss? Global warming is a natural process and has been scientifically proven so. Us humans have merely sped up the process, and not much at that. Hit me with your thoughts.

umm gee. the ice caps melting, the gulf stream failing, and europe becoming a sheet of ice.

man, you are stupid.

plus, we're not just "speeding the prossess along a little bit" we've sped it up ten fold. Go and listen to scientists, not politicians.

at the rate that its going, becuase of us.. Im sure you realize the extinction of animals at this rate and melting of polar ice caps 200 feet a year is not natural.

where do i ****ing begin with ignorant people like you..lol.

This is so true. Know when the last time it was this hot? THe medevil times. Musta been driving around their cars and making swords in all them factories to create so much heat.

When was one of the most cold times? The Industrial Revolution. Ironic, eh? The time where we started polluting at a very high level.

Apparantly, If global warming continues at it's current rate, the southern coast of th United States will be around where Chicago is in 100 years.

As a Long Islander, I'm against that. Beaches and the City are the only things that bring us money.

we have sped it up far too much. its true we are due another ice age but before that the deserts will expand to render very large parts of africa and asia uninhabitable. we will have constant tornados and hurricanes. most of the worlds major cities will be flooded. snow will cease to exist. due to holes in the ozone layer the ice caused by the ice age will melt far too quickly and we will be right back to where we were. the global warming and cooling will cancel each other out and there will be no ice age to save us after the next one. asthma and lung cancer rates will soar.

reason enough to be worried?

I like having my cake and eating it too, i think global warming is a blessing. Who doesn't enjoy warm weather? For the time being when its not flooding the earth in like a million, which by then scientific technology would have become so advanced that we could live somewhere else or stop global warming somehow.
when im with you, there's nothing I wouldn't do, i just wanna be you're only one. im gasping out of straws, taken aback by what i saw that night before when we were all alone...

he got that probably from his friend, no scientist.. seriously all of you go whatch like an inconvenient truth before you post anything on here..or take Environmental studies or Geography in University...

Global warming should be treated with the same respect as terrorism.. we have roughly 10 years before it is irreversable..and when that time comes. cancer will increase like 200% in our bodies becuase of UV rays etc.. thats just scratching the surface... dont think you are gonna outlive global warming my friennds :P.. were ****ed on the same boat.

the earth will not continue to "take its course" because we have taken carbon from the earth's crust. and pushed it into the atmosphere. Now that this has happened, the earth's natural process of heating and cooling has been disrupted.

and i'm sorry but you're gonna hafta make sense next time you type. "not the fresh out of school so i think i know everything ones though" WTF?

Dude, raising the temperature just a smidgeon could cause a desalination (or whatever) of the north atlantic, thus causing the gulf stream to stop, thus making it damn cold up here in Germany.
I'm just saying, it's not gonna be armageddon for us. Come on, mammals are the kings of adaption. Hasn't been anything thrown at us yet to kill us out, other than a meteor strike or an atomic war I don't think there will be. Civilisation needs to change, maybe an Ice Age is what it'll take.

Anyway, as soon as I have my degree, I'm headin to Spain, hope it stays warm there

OK first of all all u retards can shut up its beeeen proven its our fault, by scientists in europe, no shit there look it up, think major flooding and things like katrina allll over the shop, o and climate shifts, flooding and huge storms, its a serious problem, we have to deal with it, we started it

The medieval times were in a period called the "Little Ice Age." The average world temperature dropped nearly a degree Celcius, and everything started getting colder. A lot of people don't realize the impact a small change in the global average temperature can have. Even a slight change can seriously disrupt various climate-controlling air and water currents and drastically affect the regions they travel through.

Don't be an ass. Humans live in the sahara and in Siberia, we'll live well wherever. It's the rest of nature that we feed off of that's vulnerable.

Global warming hasnt even been proven yet, its still only a theory. The earths climate goes through different phases. Just like the ice age. The media has just blown global warming way out of proportion, just like they blew bird flew way out of proportion, notice how its faded away? Thats what happens when the media is ran by liberals.

lol true animals do adapt and stuff.. but thats over centuries..we cant adapt and evolve within that short period of time..not at all..!

Im nto to concernd yet becuase i think we will think of somthing..but still.. the odds are disturbing.

watch an inconvenient truth by Al Gore.

lots of facts in there that you might not have even thought about. shit's changing and it's about to start changing really fast. by the time the next generation goes through the world population is expected to reach 9 billion. think about how long it took to reach 6 billion. we're growing too fast, our influence is definately big enough to effect the world.
#40
master o humans? ya well no we wont cause we have already mastered the electric car but big oil companiues buy them out and destroy it, in a perfect world we could use hydrogen from electrolysing water, as it gives off only water, or use nucleur fusion which is what happens in the sun as it also has no pollutant products but until we can heat to 1 000 000 degrees celcius we have to find another way
