Hey people,

I was thinking about getting a 12-string (acoustic, or electric, haven't decided yet) and I was wondering how I would re-string it, what kind of strings to use, and how to tune it.

Thanks!

thanks for answering, but could you tell me 'how' you would do it? Do you need special strings?

You just have to buy a pack of 12 string strings, and string it up with the thinner string of each octave pair to the bass side of the guitar. Pretty simple, and you'll realise when you get it.
