Now that I got your attention, I was wondering if anyone other than me has ever lived in a ghetto.

Some are quite nice, and livable. There are those however that are ghastly. I remember the one I grew up on was beautiful. It was actually a resort, now it's a "rez."

Depressing really.

this is ridiculous.

by todays living standards, NO ONE lives in anything remotely close to a real ghetto.

im sick to death of hearing lyrics and people saying "cant get out of the ghetto" or "life in the ghetto is soo hard"

yeah you can! your counted as a citizen, you have rights, you have freedom. Your not hated by an extreme form of goverment.

AND Nazi S.S. wont blow your brains out or bash you do death.

.....my 2 cents.

Currently residing in a poorer, but not necessarily ghetto part of town.
According to BS statistics, 92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you're among the 8% who doesn't consider rap to be real music, donate your brains, as you clearly aren't using them.

I live near a semi-ghetto down...half of it is, half of it aint...and well, where i live is more reasembling to a suburb than anything else.
#27
I lived on a council estate, which is pretty much the UK's alternative. Sounds silly but I felt really safe there.

No!!!!!!!!!

No. But it's still shitty.. We dont have ghettos actually, just mindless teenagers beating the crap out of each other for no apparent reason.
I put a dollar in a change machine. Nothing changed.

South side tenement in Middletown, NY. Certainly not the worst in NY, but people still died weekly. Luckily now I live in upscale Warwick. God knows how that happened.

I moved out a few years ago, I now live in a mexican neighborhood.

Sup homes?
#33
We don't really even have 'neighborhoods' where I live. We aren't near a trailor park and most of the houses are decent so I suppose it's ok. It's not the suburbs, but it's not rural either.
