I'm looking for a good, tube combo amp of 30 watts or less. I prefer hi-gain, but I would consider any amp. I have only $400 or so to spend and I get complaints about my 120 watt amp on 2 volume, so I don't need much power for this.

your not gonna turn a 30 watts tube much further than 2 either. any more than 5 watts and youll need an attenuator, but id recomend one even with a 5 watt. tube amps take distortion pedals really well, so look into some like a valve junior, peavy classic, low power fenders.

Yeah, I've been thinking of getting rid of it to help fund a tube amp.

Sell the crate and buy that 30watt Orange amp.

I don't remember the model name, but it's a wonderful amp.

I could let my Carvin X-60 50W Tube amp go for $400 that includes shipping in the price. E-mail me and let me know, or post here.
