OK so now I've decided to buy a new amp, I'm going to sell my old one.

It's a line 6 spider II 112 75 watt amp, discontinued now as the spider III's are out.

I paid approx. £220 for it (I think) christmas 2005 so it's a year and 2 months old. Nothing wrong with it aesthetically or electrically(as far as I know). A friend of mine is interested in it, and I was wondering if anyone could give me a figure to ask for it?

Note: He's just starting out so hes not going to be all 'line 6 sucks' and I don't feel bad about selling him an amp with such a bad reputation because it'll be alot less than a new amp for what he's getting, and like I did, he's going to want as many features and as bigger wattage as possible, no point denying him what he wants.

Throw it off a bridge and let a homeless man use it as a shit box.
And as the walls come down, and as I look in your eyes
my fear begins to fade, recalling all of the times
I have died, and will die.
It's all right. I don't mind.

^I thought about it, but there's no bridges near here and I don't have a car.

I searched on froogle. The cheapest I found it new is £150: http://soundslive.co.uk/product.asp?id=2976

Do you think it'd be fair to ask for £120? And then as long as he doesn't try and barter it down, let him have it for £100.

Or am I getting mugged off?

That soundslive one is pretty much £160 with postage.

I think £100-£120 is a reasonable estimate.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.
