...They're just the same as "normal" arpeggios, you just tap one or more of the notes.

Hey guys! I just started playing electric guitar should I get a Gabson Lay Pall or a Femdor Startokaster. I like the picks on the gabsons but i like how sweet femdors look. Beforre i get a gabson what company makes them?

1, 3, 5 = maj

1,3b, 5= min

this is some thing your just have to remember.

in the diatonic sequence or scale. There's 8 note from root to octive

The first chord make a maj sound (happy)......1 chord, 4 chord, 5 chord.

The 2 chord, 3 chord, and the 6 chord makes a minor (sad) sound.

So when you solo over a chord....you kinda want to harminize

Argeggios are just the notes of each corrosponding chord.
You can't go wrong.

You tap to obtain speed and a legato sound (smooth)

Let said the backing movement is Cmaj, Amin, G
You tap accordingly

My guitar has 24 frets ....that leaves me with two octives, i can tap per string.

I'm not sure what you are refering to as the 3 minor kind s of tapping.
Cus I'll make up whatever veriations as I please.

maybe he's talking about three basic sounds

1,4,5 = major (happy)
2,3,6 = minor (SAD)
7 = diminish (SCARRY)

Just start your known arpeggios on the second and third notes. So you would start that one you posted on 11 instead of 7. You may have to add some notes on the highest string to stay in rhythm, but that's easy enough.

Could you post the ones you already know, Mr. Threadstarter? After looking into Michael Romeo's stuff, I figured it'd be a good thing to work on tapped arpeggios. I'm trying out some sweep-tapped arpeggios, and it's taking me some time now.

no problem bud, i only know 2 3 if you count the tapping interlude to Symphony-x's Sea Of Lies
