are they still crankin out new deluxe players strats because musiciansfriend had them as limited in stock said once they are gone, they are gone. and does anyone have feedback on the guitar?

Both AMS and Sweetwater have them...

My feedback is to save up $80 and get a Carvin Bolt .

hoping you're sarcastic there... the deluxe strat is actually a pretty nice guitar

Yeah, it is a pretty nice guitar.

The Carvin Bolt still kicks it in the pants, though.

thanks, but i want the strat with rosewood fretboard and 3 tone sunburst, not maple. (imo, maples are fugly) and almost all other sites besides MF have it with maple. the reason i ask is because i havent gotten a chance to go to a guitar center to try it before i buy it, and was wondering if i should crackdown on it

alot of times they sell out and then shoot it back out again for the new year.
usually with a couple of minor differences.

as always, depends how it sells tho.

mines a mia 62 players deluxe. it;s pretty sweet.

carvin's are nothing to sneeze at tho. i wouldnt mind owning one.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

the DP strats are pretty damn good, especially if you can haggle down the price. Still, if you have the money go for a carvin bolt. they feel a bit different and have a master vol and tone control but they sure are high quality.

i dont like dp strats
i played one and the added push button adds very little extra tonal possibilities
