I have a humbucker that i need to put into a guitar, and it is coil split, so it has 4 wires. what do i join together to just use it as a humbucker with 2 wires?

Pretty sure you can just tape the two spares off and wire it like normal. I'd invest in a puch/pull and use it though....

If i do that, wont it act like a single coil?

Four wires right?

Wire 1 [ ] Wire 3
[Humbucker]
Wire 2 [ ] Wire 4

Just Connect Wire 3 to Wire 4, Then use Wire 1 + 2 as your two wires, And it will still act as a Humbucker.
