I want to get a Michael Angelo Batio-style sound, and I was looking at some of the famous overdrive pedals. Which would be better for MAB, the TS808, TS9, or one of the Maxon versions?

Currently I'm playing an RG321 out of a Roland Cube 30X. I realize it's not the greatest rig, but I'm really hoping a good OD pedal can get the sound I want.

EDIT: I replaced the stock Ibanez pickups with a JB+Jazz combo.

with your amp, the differences between those pedals are not at all worth the price. your not going to get the most out of a tube screamer or any other overdrive pedal for that matter.

you can get close for the price, and the tube screamer will still be there when you get a real tube amp
