I have a pretty good amp, but i´d like one on the computer.
Is it so that you can plug in your guitar in the computer (wich I can do)
and then donwlond different sounds and likewise?

Line 6 gearbox...maybe...but think you need some of there stuff to run it. amplitube or amplituide or something do stuff like that, the sound comes from a monitor or headphones

you can use a 1/8" adapter to plug directly into ur computer's line in.
download audacity free program to record.
then find a free effects demo ^ like suggested above.

Look for "Guitar Rig 2" or "Amplitube 2". You'll be satisfied.

go to audacity. download that, it's free.

and u can change effects on ur recordings. in addition there are guitar amp effects downloads.
you can try free demos, usually last a month. or u can find a free download.

i cant remember the name of the one, mentioned all the time. it's "can" something, it escapes me right now.


but get audacity to start. and let me look around for that other program name.
you might want to search in the recording section of ug too. they have Q and A at the bottom of that section.
