I believe Fender should make a custom guitar dedicated to George Harrison, since the Strat was his dream guitar. Here are some ideas:

A complete Rosewood Tele like he used on the rooftop concert.
His first Strat, which he painted.
A white Strat dedicated to the Concert for Bangladesh.

Any other ideas?

didnt semi acoustics a lot though, maybe a cool semi acoustic strat, thats something you dont see often, like the thinline teles, whatever it is, it would have to be trebley and bright, maybe even twelve string, damn george harrison was cool

EDIT: just listening to while my guitar gently weeps here, and thought, why doesnt clapton try get him one made, or paul mc cartney, or ringo, they a;l have pull in the guitar comunity, clapton has his own strat, so should george, and also, give ringo a ****ing knighthood!

I read some were long time ago that George Harrison collected all sorts of guitars, and at one time had one of the biggest collections around. Ive seen pics and concert footage of him playing all different kinds of guitars over the years. If im not mistaken, The early Beatle days, I think he played a Gretsch. I dont know if he had a favorite guitar.

Yeah, the most famous Gretsches were the Country Gentleman and the Tennessee Rose. During the Beatles, he also liked his Strat, his Gibson SG and Les Paul, and his Epiphone Casino, although John and Paul made the Casino famous. I don't know, I just like the idea of a sig Strat.

Actually Fender did make a (I beleive it was a red telecaster) and presented it to him.
One worker worked months on this guitar. George ended up giving it to a friend and
now his wife is trying to get it back.
