I want to upgrade the stock pick ups on my Ibanez IC400. I have no set price range yet. I want something that sounds really good on clean, but can provide excellent distortion aswell. I was looking at Gibsons, but I am open to any suggestions.

Get EMG 81/60 combo.

I have 81/85, and I find the 85 to work fine on clean, but lots of people disagree. 60 works very well for cleans.

Get 81/60 and that thing will destroy people.

EMG's suck clean. If money is no object then contact wolfe. http://www.wolfetone.com

If you have a lot of money but there is a limit to your spending contact tim at bare knuckles

If those are too much then look into the others
Not taking any online orders.

EMG's suck clean only if you use an 81 with the tone and volume turned right up. If you use an 85 or 60, maybe turn the volume down a little, the tone is excellent.
