Overlooked by many but is definately the best way to build up speed, any suggestions or comments post here

Run a search, man. You'll get many threads on this.

Here are common things you can expect to find in other threads, which I won't go into detail with here:

Scales and chromatic exercises
Play cleanly and perfectly before increasing the tempo
Take your time and practice correctly and free of tension
Working with a metronome might be boring, but you'll soon find out why it is recommended.
Using a metronome is necessary (opinion, but I find it to be true) to keep time well.

Mind if I steal this for a bit of a "quick responses for repetitive topics" thing I am sort of putting together?
Don't tell me what can not be done

Don't tell me what can be done, either.

I love you all no matter what.
