I thought I'd just post this here for the benefit of anybody who wants to learn more about recording, sound engineering, and/or gear.

It's a 55 page thread from the official Jimmy Eat World forums entitled "Tweaker Audio Engineering Thread" started by the lead singer/guitarist for JEW, Jim Adkins. He (along with other knowledgeable folks) post a lot and will answer any questions you have.

It's a good read, at the very least, regardless of whether you like JEW or not .
