Quick question:
When im playing guitar and have a chord above the 12th fret, I find my fingers are really cramped together (I have always used one finger per fret). Should I scrap that and use one finger for two frets? As I find when pressed down my fingers are as wide as the fret

Thanks

You could use one finger to span two notes on the same fret(like needing to cover the G and D strings at the 15th fret), but If you are talking about fretting say the 17th and 18th fret with just one finger, I would not try that. Right now you are doing everything properly, even though it does get a little cramped. If you are not already doing this, try using the very tips of your fingers on those frets. Really arch those fingers to get do this and you should find things a little less cramped.
