i just got into ska a little bit and i was wondering if there are certain chord shapes you use when you play ska, id like to come up with some of my own progressions but i dont know where to begin

5-string barre chords especially. They're really chimey and give you that wonderful ska "click" without the lower two strings bringing in any bass.
