... JB is a bridge pickup... I think you might be thinking of a Sh-2n Jazz pickup(neck) which is commonly paired with the JB.
So yeah, the Sh-2n Jazz pickup is pretty good, and it can do a lot more than jazz.

actually i wasn't...it's just that i didn't read the "neck" part on the post...but there's another one i'm trying to remember...very common with the JB as well...used in some Schecter guitars.

they have neck versions of JBs and '59s i think.
but i prefer and recommend single coils.
if u're looking for humbuckers, go for Gibson BurstBucker.
if u're looking for single coils, go for Fender Noiseless.
hot ones on the neck&middle, vintage on the Bridge.
cuz my hot ones on the bridge is just a little too hot.
i love them both.

I have a stratocaster that's in my sig.
i personally think the hot pickup on the bridge is too hot.
but with the mid boost, its pretty damn hot.
and the bustbucker, when i go to guitar center (like three times a month) i always pick up a les paul or SG with burstbucker and their tone is orgasmic.
i played with a lot of amps.
they're all good.
