I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this but I wasn't sure where to put it. Anyway, I recently started learning Celtic music and so far it's pretty fun and sounds awesome.

But the majority of it is in DADGAD, wich I'm not familiar with at all. I'm trying to get a bigger feel for the tuning but other than the Celtic tunes I don't know of any bands or songs that use it. Can anyone refer me to a modern band and or songs that use this tuning?
Black Mountainside by Led Zeppelin is in that tuning and is a pretty fun song to play.

did you know the major scale on a piano, starting at whatever note (lets say E). you just go straight up the white keys without hitting a black one. and you got the major scale.

Don Ross and many other fingerstyle players use it alot.

Oh, Pierre Bensusan has been using it exclusively for a few decades now. He is no poseur.
Don't tell me what can not be done

Don't tell me what can be done, either.

I love you all no matter what.
If I'm not mistaken, Kashmir is in that tuning

There are a number of Zeppelin songs like that.
And I've seen a few Dashboard Confessional songs like that
Just let the good times roll.
