Its not that amazing. Anyone whos pushed into lessons by thier parents can be great at a young age. Just because hes young doesnt mean he's less capable of learning, in fact people that start very early are more capable because their brain is still developing and the music goes into their brain development. Thats why we see so many three year olds that are amazing violinists.
