This might be a stupid question. But I know little about Sperzel Locking Tuners, other than what I hear which they cut down re-stringing time. I've been looking to buy a new guitar with Sperzel Locking Tuners on it. And I mess with a bunch of different tunings when I play. With Sperzels is it hard to tune your guitar to different tunings?

Ehh...yes and no. It depends on how many times you wrap the string around the tuning post. If you only do half a turn around the post the let the locking tuner do the work and then tune in standard E you wont be able to do much since youve only got half a wrap around the tuning post.

Make at least one wrap around the post and youll be fine to tune to whatever from E standard.
