I have a tele and ive decided i needed something with a thicker tone as a backup especially when i play punk and metal my 3 main choices are an Epiphone G310, and Epiphone LP 100, or a Schecter deluxe 006. I am open to other suggestions.

You could sell your Tele and get another one or a Strat with a humbucker in it. Or save a little more and get an Epi Dot, they are pretty sweet guitars with tonnes of different tones just waiting to be discovered.

probably good with humbuckers if u need thick tone.
i have an SSS strat but i got a big hairy midboost unit to go with.

or... just crank the mid on ur amp. thick fat tone.
