Okay, basically I really need to loose some weight in my thighs. They look fine when I'm standing up, but when I sit down or crouch, they're really fat, and it's really embarrassing. Playing guitar obviously isn't helping... Why can't strumming and fretting work out your whole body! I started a running routine this week... I hope to see results in a couple months.

Thanks in advance...

one thing i learned the hard way is that you can't "spot check" meaning you can't just pick a body part and work on it heaps to make it any different..Think about it gum chewers would have funny mouths... i guess try some riding (bicycle) it works you pretty well. good luck

Have you tried Google?

There's all sorts you can do, namely at the gym, but you can find ways to do it without.

E.g. I have no weights so I fill up my school bag with heavy things. Then I can use it for squats, leg extensions off the edge of my bed, put it on my back and just keep jumping up and down.

Yeah, cardio to lose wieght. Aim to keep your heart rate between 140 and 170bpm.

Dude, practically everybody has the same problem. I have relly fat thighs when sitting, and I don't let it bother me cause all my friends do too.

Just get some fat friends, you'll feel better.
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.

Also, even if you have practically no fat and alot of muscle on your thighs they will still spread out a bit when sitting. Unless you constantly flex your thighs...
