I'm curious, what amplifier did Randy Rhoads use on the Blizzard of Ozz album? I think it was a Marshall, but I'm not too sure...any ideas?
Funny words.

i'm not 100% sure, but i think i've read somewhere he used a plexi (boosted with several MXR pedals)...

^^

I was thinking more of a JCM800 boosted by MXR or a Marshall Jubilee...

it was a plexi and he used an MXR distortion + pedal...his phaser/flanger don't remember which, and probably both, was MXR and he had a dunlop crybaby, however, i can't figure out where he used it. if you were curious, his amps were set up in a stone basement facing a stone wall across from a flight of stairs in the studio. his mics were 5, 10, and 15 feet from the wall or so. this gave a room ambience now famous in his tone. for solos, randy stood at the top of that stone flight of stairs and just played through things about 80 times.
