Hey guys, small question here.
I currently have my Les Paul set up with 010-013-017-26-36-46 GHS Boomers, and I'm going to put the Zakk Wylde signature GHS strings on to try them out. The three bottom strings are the same, but the top strings are 36-52-60. I'm switching cause I play in drop tunings a lot (Drop B, sometimes even Drop A or G).
Anyway, my question is, am I going to have to make any adjustments to the truss rod or tune-o-matic bridge?

it wont fit in your nut for sure, the normal 6th string gauge is the 4th string

yes, your guitar will need to be completely reset for the heavier strings. truss rod, intonation, action - you may also have to modify your nut.

yeah you will have to file it out, just make sure you dont file the groove lower, just wider.

When i put on heavier strings, the frets all buzz now. I need to raise the actionat that end by about 1mm.
